Products & materials

What are your products made of?+

Our hardware is made from solid brass and honest alloys, with a steel core where strength is needed (for example hinges and latch mechanisms). Each product page lists the exact material and finish.

Are the finishes durable?+

Yes. Brass is lacquered or finished to hold its lustre through daily use; aged and antique finishes are meant to mellow further over time, which is part of their character. Care notes are on every product.

Do you sell smart locks or electronic hardware?+

No. We make only mechanical, decorative architectural hardware. Nothing we sell is electronic — no smart locks, powered bells or battery parts — so there is nothing to fail or update.

Do products include fixings?+

Yes. Screws, pins or bolt-through fixings are included as appropriate, and listed under each product's specifications.

Fitting & sizing

Can I fit these myself?+

Many of our pieces are straightforward to fit with basic tools, but installation — and any load-bearing fixing — is the customer's responsibility. If in doubt, use a qualified fitter or joiner.

How do I choose the right size?+

Each product page lists key dimensions such as lever length, fixing centres and spindle size. Measure your existing hardware or door preparation and compare before ordering.

Can I match finishes across a whole house?+

Yes — order in a single finish and we batch-match where possible. For larger projects, use our Trade & Bulk enquiry for matched-finish pricing.

Shipping & duties

Where do you ship?+

Worldwide, from the United Kingdom. Delivery estimates by region are on our Shipping Policy.

How much is shipping?+

Free standard shipping on orders over $55 USD. Below that, a flat fee is shown at checkout before payment.

Will I pay customs or duties?+

International orders may attract import duties or taxes set by your country. These are not included in our prices and are the customer's responsibility.

Orders, returns & payment

What is your returns policy?+

Unopened, unused items can be returned within 14 days for a refund. Faulty or incorrectly supplied items are always covered. See our Returns & Refunds Policy.

How are payments secured?+

Checkout runs over encrypted HTTPS and payments are handled by trusted processors such as Stripe and PayPal. We never store your full card details and are PCI-handled by our processors.
